A patient came to see us recently for repair of her gauged earlobes because she said we were known as “the best place to have this done.” We’ve been doing this for years but didn’t realize we had built up a reputation!
We’ve always found these cases enjoyable. They range from fairly straightforward to quite challenging, depending on the condition of lobe tissues. In this office procedure, we utilize and rearrange the stretched tissues to reconstruct a normal lobe shape.
It takes less than an hour and normal activities can be resumed right away. We’ll remove your sutures in about a week and the lobe can be pierced in about 6 weeks if you desire. One of our nurses will do this piercing at no charge.
