Our Lawrence location in the Lawrence Medical Plaza building serves as our main office. The large and comfortable lobby features the artwork of many talented artists from the Lawrence area. In addition to our examination and consultation rooms we have 2 procedure rooms to allow us to perform many office procedures in a comfortable, private setting. Our aestheticians have well equipped rooms where they can provide consultations, skin care products, laser treatments and other expert non-surgical treatments that have built them a large following of loyal patients over the years. Our Lawrence location also serves as our business office where we can help you with insurance and financial questions.

Topeka

At the request of many of our patients and physicians in the Topeka area, we opened our first Topeka satellite office in 2003. This allowed patients from Topeka and surrounding areas to see us closer to their homes and for us to work in closer collaboration with physicians in Topeka. We’re located at Ricks Advanced Dermatology Center located at 5120 SW 28th Street, just off Fairlawn Road. We’re excited to be sharing space with Dr. Ricks and his staff!

Lawrence Surgery Center

Many of our outpatient and overnight stay procedures are performed at the Lawrence Surgery Center. First established in 2000, the center has now moved and expanded to a larger state-of-the-art facility located at the new LMH Health West Campus building. It provides a convenient, patient-friendly and safe setting for outpatient surgical operations. The center is jointly owned by Lawrence Memorial Hospital and several surgeons in the community, including Dr. Thellman. Private rooms are provided for those patients requiring an overnight stay. Anesthesia services are provided by Lawrence Anesthesia, P.A., an experienced group of physicians and nurse anesthetists who also provide services at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. The center is fully accredited by the AAAHC and is a participating provider for most insurance plans.

Lawrence Memorial Hospital

Outpatient surgery and those procedures requiring inpatient admission are performed at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. This modern, fully accredited 173 bed facility is the perfect setting for our more extensive procedures, providing a full range of medical services in a convenient, friendly setting. Dr. Thellman maintains full active staff privileges and is involved with various medical staff activities at LMH. Dr. Thellman served as chief of surgery at the hospital for 2000-2001. All rooms are private and the quality of care provided has earned LMH a “Top 100” hospital designation from Truven Health Analytics for four years in row.
